Our group is for Boulder regional folks who want to learn and practice communications skills that improve relationships, understand deeper human motivation and connect across differences. All are welcome. This calendar is for open groups. We have additional Heart Centered Communication practice groups and quarterly classes based on Marshall's book, "The Basics Of Nonviolent Communication" as well. Next class starts mid March, 2012.

I'm starting a group to create a community garden in my yard of which I have an acre of property. The purpose of the group is to gather knowledge from each other in how to create a community garden and get enough people to help the building of it as well. I am a novice with this, so I am looking to get support on this and we can decide as a group how we want to run the garden as it forms.

This group is an Initiative of the Colorado Capital Congress with the goal of enabling/easing the ability of local communities to raise money to start a new business or project in their backyard. The Group will develop this idea to the point of being ready-to-implement, invite public discussion and then it will be voted on by the entire Congress.

The Boulder Blind Cafe meet up is for those who love The Boulder Blind Cafe event and the idea of eating, connecting with others and experiencing music without vision. The Boulder Blind Cafe is concert, a community discussion with the Blind servers and a dinner that is held in total darkness that happens 3 + times a year in Boulder, CO. The intent of this group is to help connect The Boulder Blind Cafe goers and explore further how this event or others like it can open people's heart and 'eyes'.
… While these groups are very valuable, I wanted to start a more informal group to connect young parents in my community, so that I could spend more time getting to know the families attending and less time planning! Also, I wanted it to be free to all who attend. We meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month, Sept.-May, at Crossroads Church of Denver, 9725 W. 50th Ave., Wheat Ridge.
